In order to be legally married in Texas you'll need to get a MARRIAGE LICENSE!

Here's what you'll need to do if you're in Brazos County:

1. Couple must go together down to the county clerks office at least 72 hours before the ceremony (3 days) but not more than 30 days before.

(Military personnel exempt from this rule)

2. Bring your Texas Drivers Liscense or other Texas I.D.

3. Bring $28 CASH - fee for the liscense (as of 3/98). Call to verify fee.
